Man, ain't that the truth... Like I said, I just kick back with a little Makers Mark 46, ginger ale and relax these days.
Clicking on it tells me I'm not authorized to view it but what I can see from the thumbnail the cost of the rigging company to get it in there must have far exceeded what I paid for my normal sized set. If anybody gives you any crap about spending so much on a television you can tell him about my brother who is having 3/4 of his house torn down and replaced over the next 12 months, supposedly because it's an old house in a very good neighborhood and things are starting to break down. Those who know him better are blaming it on the extension they put on about ten years ago which included some very fine cabinetry including a 7' x 3' wine cooler, bookcases, liquor storage but only a space for a "huge" at the time, about 50" television. No doubt he'd never try to convince his wife to tear out the cabinetry to upgrade the TV but went all in with a new configuration for the house, new bathrooms, new kitchen, new stairs and yeah, I guess they'll just have to redo the entertainment area too.
Just some heads up: SmartTVs add to the cost and most likely won't be updated 2 years from now if it's not a new/high-end model. Best to get a TV that isn't 'smart' and buy an add-on like FireTV Stick, Roku, etc. Also, OLED from what I noticed have serious burn-in issues. Good picture, but make sure an image doesn't stay static on the screen for too long when the screen is very bright. Edit: On second thought, it's extremely difficult finding a 'dummy' TV today.
Watching "Aquaman" in 4K HDR Dolby Atmos and its almost like being at the movie. Kinda like having IMAX in your living room. #LuvinThisTV
