he'll have to cut half the team, if people think PEDs aren't running rampant in the NFL they are kidding themselves.
Now Winslow's sullenness suddenly makes sense. Tough break, but Cumberland's recent play makes this much less devastating news.
Fuck man :/ Oh well. We have Cumberland who has stepped up BIG and maybe this 4 game suspension will have him fresh and ready for playoffs
good teams overcome adversity, in 2009 and 2010 we had suspensions and key injuries and overcame. W/ the emergence of Cumberland hopefully we can stay afloat as Holmes and Cro get healthy and Winslow comes back.
Interested to see how Sudfeld is. He didnt live up to the hype in NE, but who knows... Cumberland has been great so that severely lessens the blow.
I would say more than half the league not just half the team. They don't test for certain substances and players can beat tests. The ones that get caught are dopes.
I was under the impression that Idzik was a law and order type guy. Especially after he bounced those two guys before the season even began. Now with Goodson and Winslow, perhaps Idzik is taking a more "pragmatic" approach to this whole L&O deal.
The 2 guys before the season had no chance of making the team. he had a chance to lay down the law w/ Goodson but that was one of his big moves and he did nothing. To me PEDs are different than getting in trouble off the field though.
That's the view I'm sure Idzik is taking too. One is violating society's laws, the other is violating the league's laws. Gray areas are always so complicated.
I'll buy that. PEDs don't seem 'reckless' or like character issues. They're a fuck-up of a different ilk.
The entire league is on roiuds...its a russian roulette game...Winslow is the latest to get caught. Oh well........
