Just mind-boggled by this news.... He was just here. One of the stand-out personalites on this forum. Condolences to his family and those who knew him, he seemed like a total beauty. RIP Pats-hater, you will be missed.
RIP PH. I never talked to him in person but a lot of times we were the first people in the parking lot setting up our tailgates. He made Sundays so much more fun with 17a ripping every opposing fan as they walked by. I was looking forward to getting to see that all year again. Something tells me they will do it twice as hard just for you. Deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.
My whole hearted condolences. May every cloud that brings a rainy day have a green tint to it. Lost my father 3 years ago 64 and my son last summer 18. There is no recovery for loses like this just ways of coping. I hope yours and his fam's suffering is as minimal as possiable.
Wow, what happened? I never really talk to anyone here, but the love shown by a lot of you is amazing.
Horrible news.....I rarely post here anymore but I still lurk here and there.....Pats-hater was definitely a funny poster and sounds like a great guy from what some of you that met him have said. Feel awful for his family. Anyone know what happened? Was it out of nowhere?
This is devastating. On the verge of tears thinking how tough his loss is for his family and friends...way too young to go my friend. I didn't know him all too well. But appreciated the opportunity to meet him at the Vikes game last year. This fucking sucks. RIP PH
This is absolutely shocking. For some reason it just didn't twig for me when I saw some chat in the Bunker thread. I assumed he'd been banned again. As a BS and TT dweller I just didn't notice this thread. It has all been said in this thread, and it illustrates the character of the man. I enjoyed our fun exchanges when I'd give him shit for his obsession over TGA. He was a really funny bloke. I'm very sorry for 17a and all of you who knew him personally. Living a world away I'd never had the privilege of meeting PH, and from the words spoken in this thread it would have been a privilege. The reality of this little online community is that we do get to know each other. In some cases very well. I'm naturally curious to the circumstances, as someone of similar vintage with the same number of kids. So a big e-hug to everyone from me. Now I'm going to knock off the last inch of 15 year old single malt Balvenie that I've been saving for an appropriate occasion. Vale - Chris
Nothing like the passing of a aquaintance to make a person realize just how fragile life truly is. May he find peace in his eternity..
wow, shocker to say the least. WTF happened? RIP and my prayers go out to his kids and wife who must be reeling right now.
Crazy, I run a Knicks site and we just had something like this happen recently where one of our very active, friendly, respected posters suddenly passed just hours after posting and speaking privately to some of the members, including myself. It's crazy how someone that you may have never even met affected your life so much. I've lurked here for years, just started actively posting more recently, but his posts definitely stood out and was one of the more recognizable personalities here. RIP man, this season is for you.
I was supposed to meet up with him before the Thanksgiving game but eventually couldn't...really wish I did =/
