Wow, I just heard on the radio on the way into work this morning. Obviously I'm not going to lose any sleep over the first suspect dying but it would have been nice to take them alive. Looks like the other guy isn't going to come in alive, especially if he also has a bomb strapped to him. Well, if they can't take them alive I hope the other suspect is dead before the day is out. The fact that they are chechnyans is really concerning. They are hopefully just rogue a-holes who happen to be chechnyans but the last thing this country needs right now is to get resistence from that group of militants. They are very violent, and the use of bombs within that group is common in their attacks in Russia.

This is fucking nuts... I found a link on Reddit to the boston police scanners... They now have a suspect on the ground in cuffs, 60-70 years old, who has a device strapped to him and a trigger in his hand...
