Did anybody watch (or DVR) the Pats-Chiefs game? How did Cassel look?

That game should have gone to OT. Chiefs had a 1st and goal at the 5 and four downs to score a TD. Looks like they called 3 passes and 1 run (on 3rd down). Knowing Herm, they probably tried the old "WR Fade" to Bowe on all 3 incompletions.

Probably. This is a BB led team. According to ESPN, Cassel is the next Brady. The MRI machine is still humming, yet Cassel is the man.

MC is a guy with under 100 passes combined on the collegiate and pro level....stop the run and confuse MC into some bad throws. Pressure is key with a guy that hasn't been smacked around much.

Also reading the Boston papers he through a couple of sure interceptions yesterday that were dropped...i don't thin our DBs will drop many this season.

On offense be aggressive - get the running game going to open up play action....don't go into a shell like yesterday if you get the lead

Blanket Moss and stuff the run. They are bound to lose a regular season game soon, what is it now? Twenty in a row? Seven in our buidling? The time is now--well, Sunday.

Funny you mention it .. The last time the Pats lost a regular season game was back in 2006 .. Do you know the team that beat them? Hint: It was in Foxboro ..

    Cassel = deer in headlights

I think if the Jets front 7 keeps blitzing Cassel...we should win this game.

Brady's departure from the NFL is not even in the same league as is Tiger Woods' departure from golf.

Was that it? Damn. You guys ripped up the field after that one, too. We've actually beaten the Pats twice at Gillette since they built it but not at the Meadowlands.

Two deep cover Moss on every single play, stuff the run and throw the sink at Cassel and I think the Jets will come out on top.

thats a sure fire way to help make it easy for cassel and the pats to beat us next week.

no one corner can handle moss!!!!!!! your just asking for trouble leaving moss one on one with a corner. revis is good but, lets not get carried away with him being that great. a lot of teams have put their best corner on moss and have gotten roasted/charred and toasted. lets take moss out of the game with double and tripple coverage and have them try to beat us with the rest of their guys.

revis covering moss is a pipe dream!!!!!!

    Disguises, pressure, etc.

He is inexperienced, no where near Chad's ability as a QB to read the blitz and coverages that we faced last week.

I see no reason to not use the same defensive blueprint the Giants outlined for us. Pressure the QB, and with Brady not in there, the results might be even better.

Welker has to be contained as does the running game. We did a good job yesterday with the run, but Penny carved us up with his short stuff and WELKER HAS TO BE LAYED OUT!

Let's hope that between Revis, Rhodes, and Lowery we can cover Moss, Welker, and Gaffney? (not sure if he is still there but he always kills us somehow)

Well like many have said, they're still a great offensive team, so we do have to score enough to come out of there alive. I also believe constant pressure to Matt Cassel will make him feel the heat and probably rush to make stupid decisions or throws, causing turnovers which we really need to get some points off of.
