Does anybody really care how this happened? Our biggest competition just got significantly weaker by their own doing. This just made our lives that much easier. I don't think I've ever felt as good about the Jets then I do now at the moment when we actually for the first time that I can remember had legitimately the most talent in the NFL
"I took this to also be a shot at Cro. Even if unintentional." Completely agree... I'm sure he was focussed on trying to make a point about Moss, but he didn't think about it from a teammates point of view.
I pray that Revis Christ is better, just thinking about his play from last year...we can be that team that wins the SB if he gets his shit together.
I agree ... and with that said I don't even want Revis to play this week. I'd rather have him sit an extra week (or 2 weeks) even if it means that Moss may have a big day against us. We can score with anyone, and I'll take my chances that we can win a shootout against the Vikings with Santonio added to the mix. Even if we lose ... not that big of a deal. It would be a an out-of-conference loss and without Moss, I think we handle the Pats in their building later in the year and win this division by a few games anyway.
No, he is smart. Him not playing if hes not 100% is way better for the team in the long run. He would be selfish to play if he wasn't better because he thinks he has to prove himself against Moss.
Holding out of the entire TC to get money you could have had day one, and ending up with a predictable injury is a hate worthy offense.
They haven't had great drafts recently, looks like Hernandez is going to be good but no real standouts. They have a lot of needs anyway,l a real RB, oline help, dline help, LB help, and secondary help. Not to mention a QB soon enough.
Me too. Though Walt Andersons crew should Burn in Hell for that ridiculous call that gave Baltimore a chance to trade 3 for 7.
I love Darelle and can't wait till he is back and dominating wr's like only he can, but to argue that he is not even a little bit of a douchebag b/c of how he has now acted repeatedly is crazy. His huge success, and warranted praise, has clearly changed him. If you believe he makes the latest comments without realizing that its a slap in Cromarties face, then you believe him to be a complete moron, which he is not. The guy has become a bit of a diva. It happens to most players when they are showered with adulation. That being said, he makes our defense incredible, and I can't wait to see this defense with all its parts operating as a unit.
I have to disagree on significantly. Anyone who knows the Pats know that they play ball like the Yanks play baseball. They punch in and go to work. If anything the offense now has Beli's full attention. They will play more inspired ball as a result of Moss being gone. True their talent pool went down but I'll guarantee they play harder. And they have Brady. The target on the Jets back, grant it, is diminishing as they become legit but now the Pats are off the radar with young eager talent. Coached by a HOF'r I expect the Pats to stay in the hunt till the end. BB will take the challenge. I'm not kissing rings but they can beat the same teams the Jets beat. The Jets have arguably the best talent to date but they still have to play the games. Until we win the division the Pats are game. I'm more confident than ever but I think the Jets have games in their future like they had in game one. They have to win those.
That's because he was beefing with the NE staff and stopped giving a shit. We all know Moss makes himself a non-factor when he's bitching or whining about something.... I'm expecting a pissed off Randy Moss on Monday night, especially with Revis talking trash AFTER Moss torched him on that TD play. A pissed off/motivated Randy Moss is LARGELY effective. Hopefully Revis' hammy is good to go and they can go to war, and Revis wins that war.
I agree I love the guy, obviously from my username, but we need to have someone on our team to slap him in the face and tell him to stop being a bitch when he acts like one. I wanted it to be Jenks or Ellis but Jenks is gone and Ellis is too high too care right now.
Ill give you he didnt care for the Miami game but theres no way he really didnt try only in the second half of the Jets game. You dont play hard the first half then decide Im going to stop in the second against a big divisional rival whom he hates.
Well their <5'10' "white" receivers & RBs have done more damage to us than their lone "black" >5'10" receiver has. On another note, whenever Moss has been spurned & had something to prove he usually excels, to be on the national stage Monday night will only be more of an incentive for him. I think we're going to be in for a long night unless our D plays exceptional...great pressure/hits on Farve + creating turnovers & our O runs the ball well keeping the ball out of Farve's hands.
