Kind of signings that we need to be doing. Younger players with upside, not 29-year olds looking for one last payout. Nice move Macc

To be fair Leo was hands down BPA...No one was near him there on most boards when he fell to us.

Hooker/Lattimore are best at their positions, many guys can be considered BPA at that point.

Yeah, looking more into him it is definitely a risky signing. 4 career INT in 5 seasons. Played 22 out of 48 possible games the last 3 seasons. Sounds like he is a slightly better Milliner.

I'm really loving the youth approach to these signings. Risk involved but premium healthy players are hard to sell to bring to the Jets so we will have to take a risk to get a good player....Could be a really good signing if he stays healthy.

he has played in 47 NFL games and only has 4 interceptions. INTs aren't the end all be all in evaluating corners of course but I thought they were going to start putting an emphasis on generating turnovers. :(

I like this signing. He was a #6 overall pick not too long ago. Could be a huge improvement in the secondary. Didn't he play FS at one point as well?

He didn't split his AC joint signing the contract right?

I don't think this means we aren't drafting a CB at all. Claiborne is not a sure bet. He may not even be a starter. And frankly, if we pay him more than $6M i'll be pretty pissed.

He's a good guy to bring in tho and hope he can build on what he seemed to be showing last year.

But to call him a 'Revis Replacement' or think this means we are set at CB is silly as it comes.

Looks like a mixed bag.. been tested quite a bit. Dallas plays a lot of man? Definitely covered some of the best in the league.

sure, we can pick 3 plays any CB has made a on a top receiver. but this isn't representative of him or his career. sure he has upside, but also some pretty massive downside. I don't hate the move, but im not drooling over it like some others are.

We needed a corner. He looks like he has been tested.. definitely a seasoned corner.

Depth ... seasoned and tested. Expensive but necessary. I'm all for experience especially at corner and being responsible in man coverage.

What kind of character or leadership have we added ? ???

I'm not sure why he couldn't replace Revis...My 8yr old kid could have replaced Revis last year.

The question should be asked: If Claiborne misses half the season, and is just replaced on an island with a paper box, would that box give more effort than Revis last season?
