i think we should collectively apoloigizer as a fan base to the team as well as let them know that we are still passionate about this team, i feel disgraced right now and i feel like we let our players down
Once I get the apology from the team for being a complete disgrace this year, I will be sure to apologize to them.
Guys, I was there in section 113. Flew up north for the game. Yes, I left with 4 minutes to go, but had to return are rent a car before 7. Not noing how bad the traffic would be, thats why we left. Had a great time, seen a jerkoff Steeler fan get bitched slap from a Jet fan for not sitting down most of the game. When you are having a shity season with any team they will be a lot of no shows, things will change when they start winning again. Like the Dolphins are selling out there stadium every week!!!
Apology to the team ????? LOLOLOL are u joking me!!!!!!! When Woody's cheap ass comes on TV and apologizes to the entire fan base for putting out a disgraceful team then i will get up and do the same! Oh and dont feel too bad that we let our players down. Im pretty sure their not sitting in their 100k cars and million dollar homes thinking how we let them down.
If the Jets are bad I can see why people don't want to go to the games. I understand that people don't want to see a bad product. However, Jet fans should make a good faith effort to give their tickets to other jet fans. I have season tickets and when I can't make a game I call every jet fan I know and offer them the tickets. The disgraceful state of the stadium this week was caused by Jet fans putting their tickets on stubhub and ticketmaster. This is absolutely unacceptable.
^The epitome of what a frontrunner is.^ -You support youir team no matter what, not only when they are winning. -The opponent was the Steelers and If you love Football this is a game you want to be at. -1/2 time was a C-Mart tribute #28 and if anything He deserves the turnout. For anyone to try and justify staying home because their team is not playing well is NOT a fan worthy of season TIX. Now, afa Cheap Woody I agree w/ you but I am not there to watch Woody, I am there to watch football and support my JETS!
I have a way to end this debate!!!! Jets have 2 more home games left. Now their are over 1800 tickets for the browns game and over 2000 tickets for the chiefs game posted on the jets web site available to season ticket and wait list members!!! So for all you jets fans who want go out and show your support for the team, well heres your chance!!!! And for fans sitting home that are not wait list or season ticket holders you can buy tickets on stub hub for as cheap as 45-50 bucks. So come out and show us season ticket holders what real jet fans should be like!!!!
I agree with that. But shouldn't the season tix holders be going to the game and not selling them in the 1st place. Isn't the argument about the ones who are season tix holders who don't support the JETS? Sounds to me like you just want someone to buy your tix...lol
Steelers and Packers fans travel a lot. They have a vested interest in keeping things civil and they usually do. Steelers bars are also one of the best places to watch a Jets game when you're out of town. The Steelers are usually winning and everybody is happy. Go into a Browns bar and you take your life into your hands...
This is my first year with a season ticket. Granted, it's not mine as I just bought it from someone else (still in the 800's on the waiting list), but it's close enough. I can't imagine when I get my own that I'll do anything but give them to another Jets fan if I can't go to a game. I've only missed one game this year against Buffalo because I hurt my leg at work, but there is no way I'm missing the Cleveland and KC games. I don't care if I have to hobble in on crutches if I get hurt again. I was completely embarrassed by the turnout yesterday.
Im sorry but calling a jet fan a frontrunner just doesnt sound right! lolol Ive been a jet fan for as long as i can remember and if i were to be a "frontrunner" believe me i wouldnt choose the jets to front run with. lol so in my eyes that doesnt hold weight. And who says you cant support your team at home? So your telling me because im a season ticket holder i must ATTEND all the games? And that fans who arent season ticket holders and stay home and watch the game when they can easliy purchase tickets are not real fans?? Telling people they are not worthy of season tickets because they choose to stay home and support their team and not freeze their ass and watch a 1-8 team is wrong.
I would more then welcome anyone to buy my tickets!!!! I couldnt give my tickets away. THANK GOD for the United Way!!!! We can sit and and argue till we turn blue about season ticket holders attending games BUT the tickets that we're bought were available TO ALL people and not just steeler fans!!! So for all the jet fans who stayed home and are not season ticket holders you had your chance to purchase them. You guys choose not to and believe me i understand but dont knock ticket holders for selling their tickets and watching the game at home. This of course doesnt apply to me cause i went to the game. And yes royal tree i know it doesnt apply to you as well because you are a ticket holder who attends all games.
You'll be there for the chiefs game because you'll be home for new yrs but you wont come to the browns game because no holiday around that time. I got ya
Dude...that is crazy talk. Have you ever tried to have a catch with the pigskin in the parking lot an hour or two before the game. The event IS the game, but tailgating is what we can at least look back on as a victory with a season like this. The Kellen Clemens Era has begun.
Ok so now your reason on not attending games is better then mine?? WHY?? because you goto school up state and you dont have a car? Find a way. And dont knock people for selling their tickets when you would do the same. Only thing is your reason is different.
Riiiight. Because if we had better fans the team would have beaten Philly, Buffalo and the Skins. Season ticket holders have to pay full price for pre-season games... that's fair? Parking to totally screwed up... that's fair? And what have we gotten for our money? Not a whole hell of a lot this season. We sell whatever games we can't get to, and do our best to sell them to Jets fans. But if it's a choice between eating $600 in unused tickets or selling them to whomever wants them, I'll take the cash, thanks. That way I can pay for the overpriced food and drink at the next game.
tough year for jets fans, first the chad thing, now this. but you cant blame the fans for a 1-8 start, when the team is bad people dont want to show up, it doesnt mean their not "true or real fans." They just dont want to deal with the bullshit, parking/traffic/cold/money.
