Steelers fan here who was at the game. First of all, don't knock your fan base for the number of Steelers fans in attendance. Steelers fans fill stadiums all across the country. When they are playing a team with a poor record, naturally, there are more tickets available and the Steelers fans scoop them up. The Steelers fans even took over Dallas a few years ago. It happens.
I would also complement the Jets fans for being good hosts. I saw very few problems at the game between the fans. Of course, you always have the idiots. The Jets fans I met met were very polite and welcoming during the pregame tailgate.
Congrats on the win. Jets defense dominated the Steelers' offensive line which is the Steelers achilles. Steelers are a good football team, but not in the class of the Patriots. Our O-Line is very average this year and our special teams are horrendous. I hope the Jets beat up the cheaters in a few weeks.

I was stunned at all the Steeler fans. But they were good fans. I thought that there was going to be alot of fights but everyone was cool. I just was waiting for the Jets to show up. I didn't recognize the team that was playing.

I agree. The Steelers fans are generally good people. When we were there at the Brien game they were very nice in the lot, and the ones that came yesterday were fine. I was happy that now it was them having to drive home 6.5 hours after a loss, because I know from personal experience that sucks. We exacted a little bit of revenge on them. Coming out of halftime the feeling in the stadium was that it was going to be a blowout for them, but the Jets pass rush kept firing on all cylinders. Good game for Robertson and Ellis, and Sutton, believe it or not.

    J!E!T!S!

So me trying to sell my tickets makes me a "bad" fan? And a fan who sits home every week when he can easliy buy tickets is a "good" fan, a "loyal" fan? I doubt it. To those of you who dont have season tickets and bitch about current ticket holders for selling their tickets. Its real easy, you have 2 options #1 put your name on the waiting list WAIT 11 YEARS like i did and you can go to all the games. #2 buy tickets like the steeler fans do!

Sorry, I don't see why this is so hard to understand. The Jets have been pitiful to watch this season. I can't really blame anyone who doesn't want to endure the shitty parking situation and the wonderful drive out the Jersey to see these clowns. Granted, we played well, but I honestly didn;t believe these guys had a chance yesterday.

I show up no matter what the record, even if I'm dying. Unless I am literally paralyzed in bed with the flu or something tragic happened, I'm there. However, christenings, engagement parties, baby showers, 1st Birthdays, Wedding showers need not apply. You can't make me to go to such slop if you paid for my tickets personally. "Baby Shower, RSVP." "I'll give you RSVP. GO JETS!" And I say it, too. "I'm sorry, I can't make it. I have a Jets game." Open-mouthed stare...Haha, classic.

It was ridiculous yesterday. We got to the lot at 12:30 and it was already Black and Yellow as far as you could see. I knew it would be rough as soon as we pulled in. Some of the fans were fine, some were cocks.

I wanted this game bad after seeing the crowd. This one fan in front of us kept saying shit the whole game and when we won it felt so good to see his bitch face not say a word and leave. He looked back and said something but we couldn't hear him cause of the craziness. That was probably one of the more exciting/rewarding games I've ever been to.

    What a day.

And to all the Jet "FANS" who wouldn't show up on Curtis Martin day, you're pathetic.

I was offered tickets for the game without parking. I refused them. Don't want to fight the traffic and be bused to the stadium. Sorry.

Not to take away from Pitt's loyal following, but the towels, in addition to the high number of Steelers' fans that were there, made it a lot worse. Granted, we also had plenty of Steelers fans around us up by 340 as well.

To whoever gets to the parking lot at 12:30 for a 4:15 game...it shouldn't matter what you see. You have to represent and get there before 11.

Why in gods name would I get to a 4:15 game at 11 am? I never did understand tailgating outside in the cold for that length of time. 1:00-2:00 is more than enough time to eat lunch, BS with friends, etc...

Remember guys, the event is the GAME.

I think there were more Jets fans than Steelers fans there. There were lots o' Steelers fans, but I do think they were slightly outnumbered. The Steelers fans were loud, though!

The Steelers fans in my section were louder than the Jets fans in my section, to be sure. Boy was it nice to see Leon have that nice runback and then the FG go through. I left with a huge smile on my face!

    It was fun

It was fun having 2/5 Steeler fans at the game. Hell, they made it exciting for us. It made winning that much better. You a-holes that sit home and criticize season tic holders, need to know that tics are easy and cheap to come buy so make sure all you make it to the Browns and Chief game no matter what our record is or the weater. Remember, its easy to criiticize when you are at home nice and cozy, turn the game on at 04:05 and off at 07:30 I personally had a great time and thought the Jets fans were into it. Screw you TV watching, Bob Raismann know it alls. See you at the Brown games

I generally flip between them and Michael Kay on my way home in the evening...

But, for them to call anything disgraceful is apalling...

I was in the Stadium, Saturday for a tour. It's incredible how the teams coddle the media...

Nice lounge with free food, and TV's and the sight line from the media booth
    is incredible.

I guess my point is, unless they are sitting out in the cold, for 4 hours at the game, and 3 more for a TG, they need to get a little perspective. Or dealing with the parking insanity caused by the new construction....

After all, on Fri, all they could talk about was how the Jets wouldnt be in this game, so any one that listens to their show, would ahve been a fool to not get with Stub Hub and take the $$$$, and bet on watching from home...

Got a pic of my two boys in front of Kellen and Chads lockers...it was cool
to see the lockerroom, with all the equipment in the lockers for yesterdays game...

I loved singing "there's the door" at the end.
For the record they were much better than those flippin redskins fans.
