If they miss serious time we are going to rely a lot on our D line to get a pass rush going because everyones dropping back.
Rex's tone just makes me worried. My gut feeling is even if they are not so serious, they are going to be nagging Sigh
Milliner couldn't put ANY pressure on his foot. We don't know how severe it is...but there's no doubt that he will AT LEAST be out by the start of regular season. As for how far into it...that's what remains to be seen. You don't just hurt your ankle like that and then come back to health 2 weeks later. McDougle may actually be fine.
How do you figure? Because he can't put pressure on it? That means nothing right now. I've rolled an ankle and can't put any pressure on it and was fine the next day.
I think at this point, while concerned about both, I'm more worried about McDougle. Rex said he felt a "sharp pain inside his knee". That sounds very bad.
Maybe. I mean I'm not a doctor so don't take my word. It just sounded like a thing that he won't come back easy from.
Im still happy its an ankle injury and not a knee. Knees are way scarier for long term injuries. I had a really bad ankle sprain years ago and had to be carried. Couldnt put my foot down at all. 3 weeks later I was wrestling again.
If these guys have to miss significant time or even intermittently, do you think Rex will use more Zone?
@MikeGarafulo That would be huge relief. RT @KMart_LI: Rex on Dee: "Sounded like he rolled it, lead u to believe more of a sprain than a fracture."
