I guess the idea is, when the team wins the game, everybody gets the benefit of the doubt. Because they got the job done. The coaches, the defense, the offensive line, you name it. You go from losing, to winning -- then that's the whole idea. And what's more, when looking for a quarterback, I suppose that "extra something" is what everybody is looking for. A guy that gets it done with the game on the line, in the 4th quarter. Gets it done when every single defender is going balls out to try and stop him. And every single spectator in that crowd and on TV knows what he's trying do . . . . and he still does it. I suppose the thinking is that the more routine stuff, the footwork, the more conventional plays can get better with time, with reps, with training camps. But that competitive fire that rises up, remains cool under pressure, and shoots an arrow right between the eyes of the opponent -- you put that in a 6'3" package, one with a good arm and good all around athletic ability -- and you've got yourself at least the makings of a quarterback.
I'm just giving my opinion on him and if you have notice I always say he sucks right now. Again.. how long u been a jets fan?
Bottom line, Tebow is a proven winner. That is all that really matters. Jets have not won a Super Bowl in 43 years. They need something. They could use more guys like Tebow to change the team's dysfunctional locker room.
No, you don't always say "he sucks RIGHT NOW", and it's more than you just giving your opinion on him. It's a freaking obsession with you. As for how long have I been a Jets' fan ? Since Tebow became a member of the team. Next question ?
U mean like ur "obsession" to take up for Tebow every chance u get? Dude ur a joke just like the man u have a obsession with.
Hahha, you, of all people, calling someone else a joke. Run along now my overly obsessed little friend. I hear your insecurities calling.
