They accept the fact that weekly injuries are part of the game , work around that and have their players PREPARED The SAME stuff that Parcells Shula Gruden Levy Coughlin did in the past Adaptable proactive and creative=success Bowles better do some HW FAST....but not that optimistic he gets it

I too noticed that there was a lot of deference to Bowles and the fact that Bowles does not answer to Macc means that in a season, if Macc acquires a ton of talent, continues to draft a few nice pieces, and the team still sucks, Bowles will get canned, and Macc could stay. In a traditional power structure, this would be unorthodox, but given the fact that Bowles and Macc answer to Woody, and not Bowles answers to Macc, I think both are judged separately.

Well of course not..you just don't go there if you are the GM of the Jets ..a fairly dysfunctional setup So it may be a blessing in disguise for MM as Bowles is separately scrutinized The third year is more of a test for TB and an obvious PR move not to scare away good HC candidates down the line and inevitable end of the TB tenure

Hopeful for a 7-9ish where Bowles is fired and MAc gets his chance at his own HC and 3 years(baring talent gathered and retained) OR wtf am i saying Bowles turning the ship around and we look competent again
