Sorry have to disagree with all ur man lovers. Devito main job as a DE is to get to the QB or at the least pressure the QB & besides a hiccup here or there you never see him anywhere near the QB on pass plays :jets:
He also has been doing an amazing job of recognizing a developing screen. I can think if three or four screens thus year that he single handedly blew up, thanks to recognizing it before everyone else.

Fail A 4-3 defensive end's main job is to get pressure on the QB, in a 3-4 scheme not so much they case. This is the reason your pass rushing ends ala Julius Peppers do not want to play in a 3-4. In a 3-4 your main qb pressure is supposed to come from either the OLB or DB that is chosen to rush on the play - it is designed to confuse on where the 4th attacker is coming from.
