* The Jets are too high class an organization for a S**TBAG like Vick, Vick proved the old saying "you can take the ****** out of the ghetto, but you cant take the ghetto out of the ******" Let him go to his homeys on the Raiders, he would fit in great with that no class crew.
Are you friggin kidding me?? Have you looked at the people we have signed and drafted recently? Character players. Plus were not having a QB competition only to throw anotehr in the mix all late in wrong. Not to mention he the only QB he would be better then is Ryan Fitzpatrick. Vick is scum of the earth and doesn't belong in the NFL.
Unless the guy is implicated in the crime (not just being near the scene), he's staying in Philly. End of story.
If the Jets are no longer interested in Russell because of his Purple Drank arrest then there is no chance they are interested in Vick after his latest fiasco. The Jets came out after he was re-instated last year and said they were not interested. What did Vick do that could possibly change their minds? It's going to be Brunell or Clemens behind Sanchez. No one else.
I agree. I see our organization as one that is pretty tight knit and smooth sailing. I can't see us getting someone that would jeopardize that. I would like to see some more mobility in the QB position though. I guess that's what Brad Smith is for...
"M-I-K-E" Vick Remember when ESPN couldn't stop trippin' over themselves shilling for this guy as if he were Randall Cunningham taken to another level? Vick would have a 14 for 27, 145 yds., 1 TD, 1 INT performance (ho-hum stats), but sure enough, there'd be Linda Cohn and Steward Scott chirping "Mike Vick this!" and "Mike Vick that!" because they choose to focus/shill on a Vick third-and-ten 20 yd. scramble for a 1st down; a nice play maybe but hardly the game in a nutshell. sidebar: I see ESPN's limited shoving their "Lebron-NBA-free-agent" down our throats to only 23 hrs/day. Phuck Vick (and ESPN).
