Mets take series, 2 out of 3, 3 out of 3 if Randy pitches one game.

3 out of 3 Yankees sweep.

Or 2 out of 3 if Randy pitches. :)

how do you even enjoy baseball than?if its not exciting why watch.

your like a 16 year old kid who just wants to get laid.he's in such a rush he forgets to enjoy 2nd & 3rd base.

    but hey your lose.

I've always found the Yankees who attitude regarding the subway series offputting. Yes, we know it's just another game but it's still an "event" for the fans. But the Yankees(and by extension their fans) have to act like they're too good to get excited to watch a game that isn't game 7 of the world series.

I got burned betting w/ Mr. Met(Shade), I don't trust met fans anymore.

The problem is the Yankees are SUPPOSED to win so winning is more a relief than joy, all the pressure is always on the Yanks.

So you don't enjoy watching any game where the Yankees are favored? It's not a football game where one team is 15-0 and the other is 0-15, it's a 3 game series where the pitching matchups will dictate who is favored more then anything. There is plenty of fan attention but I don't think there's much pressure in a May/June interleague series either.

It did get boring when the Mets were bad for a few years but I am looking forward to it alot more now but I don't get excited like it's a playoff game.

Maybe this year where you are real contenders for the postseason you don't treat it like postseason but the past few years you guys have and b/c of all the success the yanks have had you must admit it is bigger for Met fans than Yankee fans.

yep, junc is once again trying to apply arguments that no one made to bolster his. just like we'll be more "excited" to see the mets play the cards this week then when they played the pirates.

Stop, most of the Mets fans on here act like it's the WS when you play the Yanks. Met fans still talk about winning the season series 2 years ago as if it were a Wolrd Championship.

well I would think after getting swept AT YANKEE STADIUM , you would at least want to try to "put us back in our place".being your this great almighty franchise.

It was at Shea and you guys have been in your place for years we don't need to put you back.

Since IL play began in '97 the Yanks are 33-20 against the Mets including that "little" 4 games to 1 thrashing in the World Series. Isn't that enough to keep you in yuor place?

No Mets from the 2000 team are still here; don't you feel that you should be putting the new, younger Mets in their place?

We don't need to put you in your place, you can stay where you are which is beneath us.

Met fans always fall back to that, right now they think the Mets are good so they haven;t been discussing it but if you fade again it will be front and center b/c it's the biggest achievement in mets history since the '86 WS.

Of course, winning a season series is much bigger then making it to the WS in 2000.

Met fans talk more about the 3 gam sweep in '04 than about winning the NL probably b/c they were dispatched in 5 games by the Yanks in 2000.
