This team is hard to watch. Their starters are averaging less than 5 IP per game.

 

I was pessimistic about the pitching going into the season but this is even worse than I could have feared.

 

We can come back. In this ball park we can come back. Win this game!

 

Almost coming back counts as a lost like every other lost! We've lost 12 of our last 15 games.

 

Maybe if you don't wait until you're six runs down before you start to play you might win a game occasionally.

 

This has the potential to be the Worst Team Money Can Buy 2.0. It's still early(our mantra).

The ghost fork doesn't seem too mysterious to MLB hitters (1.514 WHIP). The beat goes on with terrible play.

 

After we get swept by the Nats, we'll be in last place.

 

How about trying to get the 2nd inning before giving up a run???? FFS, every game it seems like we give up run(s) in the 1st.

 

Yeah, the Joey Lucchesi Experience ended after one game. A sincere thank you to Dom Smith for bailing him out, but I don't see this ending anything but badly.

And they've been outscored 36-9 in first innings.

 

Another pathetic performance against a terrible team, this one with the added bonus of being over two days!

 

Really is no surprise how bad this team is. I’m generally pretty optimistic going into seasons, to the point of delusional at most times, but it was pretty obvious the roster is lacking in so many areas that the team was going to take a huge step backwards. Will they make Showalter the scapegoat?

 

Peterson is not a major league pitcher. Do we have any arms in the pipeline?
