The Mets are fucked for this series against the Phills. They got Lee and Doc. and the best pitcher we got is Niese. Hopefully we can win at least one of these 3.

nice to see they saved their worst series of the season for me.......

Dickey was excellent yesterday and Murphy is starting to heat up which is good news.

Ref the Phillies...I think that we will 1 of the games but frankly Bautista as a No5 is so poor....but then again it prevents Schwinden ever gracing mlb again

Wright with a two RBI double off Halladay. Tie game.

Great job by Parnell to fall down while fielding a bunt. Now it's 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.

Thole almost knocks himself out putting the tag on Wigginton but amazingly holds onto the ball. He's got a concussion, I'll bet.

Thole went down holding his head right away, but of course the ESPN announcers are busy saying it's a Buster Posey injury.

Valdespin with the 3-run jack to put the Mets ahead in the 9th, on his first major league hit!

Reminds of Omar Santos against Papelbon in Fenway a few years back. The difference in that game was we were losing.

I knew Valdespin would hit a home run.

What a game! I was at the game in Boston when Santos hit the home run off of Papelbum, its good to see us stick it to him again, what a tool.

Any chance we throw one at Wiggington tomorrow? I know it was technically a clean play but it was pretty brutal, if given the right opportunity (not a close game) I think belt him with a fastball tomorrow.

Wiggington has been known as a dirty player before. We have freaking the 41 year old pitching for us tomorrow, so we might as well hit him.

Wigginton did nothing wrong to merit a plunking. However, that silly team had a pitcher throw at a guy on Sunday night for no good reason at all so maybe the Phillies deserve it.

For a team that all the "experts" guaranteed would be 5-24 at this point....the young playhard Mers are doing damn well for themselves and their fans.

Hopefully Jason Bay remains on the DL forever

Your right, it was clean, but its a division rivalry, I say we spice things up a bit.

That is like a death sentence with the Mets training staff. Look at Bay he is a zombie compared to what he was in Boston.
