Okay so gameday 92 deg f and sat in the nice club seats row 1 block 233..then Schwinden starts pitching..fuck me sideways...the most impotent pitcher since....last weeks effort..every 3-2 or 3-1 count high 80s fastball no movement..thank you very much..

It was interesting watching side on to see if there is any late movement in a non elite fastball and nope there is none...back to AAA ...and next in line please!

Anyway again we lacked any oomph in our lineup...ike looks lost and Hairston looked like Hairston

Went for the footlong today and it was the only good thing...apart from the cute chick in the boots and shorts two rows back!!

Well Houston over and out.....fucking shameful series

Schwinden blows. I was happy to be working today because he is not fun to watch.

We need to take 2 of these 3 games. Let's get back on track, we got duda and murphy back in the lineup now.

The crappy bullpen continues to push the Mets down that black hole I was talking about ...

The Mets are -31 in run deferential. That is the second worst in the MLB. This is clearly going to catch up with them and I think we'll see them continue a pretty bad slide now.

The Mets had every oppurtunity to win yesterday. Pathetic.

Teams do not score for Johan Santanas this season. The Angels one is 0-6 now and the Angels failed to score in 5 of his starts. The Mets have 0 runs against a middling prospect through 3 innings today because their Santana is pitching.

Hardly an overwhelmingly impressive job by Francisco, but the Mets manage to win.

Santanas! The other one is Ervin. :) Plus he's been pretty bad in general. Only in his last two starts could he have expected a chance at a win. His first four were terrible.

Hard to produce runs when your #3 hitter is OPSing about .500. Also consider that the awful Vernon Wells has started 23 games with his fantastic .237 OBP. He's been batting 6th or 7th.

^ Ervin Santana's real name is Johan Santana.

He got the save, but Francisco still stinks. An 0-2 count on a guy who has been chasing pitches all day, and he throws a fastball right down the middle that is almost hit out for a game-tying home run. Ridiculously stupid.

Anyway, the Mets have stopped the bleeding for the moment. Big series in Philly coming up.

Dickey's win was a good thing for my fantasy team.
