all we need is a stop-gap first baseman until Texeira, or however the hell you spell his name, becomes available in another year. taking a Braves player would only make it a better signing.
yes i watch reds games, thats why i gave my insight, he is a fine hitter but i dont trust him in a big spot, he is a strikeout machine hes better than delgado though, yes i guess id have to take him given the chance but ive never liked his style of player
everybody strikes out alot. wright is going to strike out 120 times. who cares? the mets need a big bat vs RHP that's what they've really been missing in the middle of their lineup this year.
