We all know that Manuel is a horrible manager, but the real point here is that the fact that Minaya still has a job is a joke. Everybody knew that the Mets' starting pitching was suspect, he did nothing about it, and now it is destroying any chance the team might have. If that isn't enough to get a GM fired, I don't know what is, and of course that doesn't even consider that he didn't fire Manuel, botched the Ike Davis callup, thought Matthews and Jacobs were legitimate major leaguers, etc., etc.
