    At this point, nobody - there is no one in the bullpen who should be considered "the man" for an entire 9th inning. In a close game, it is inexcusable for Manuel to have ANY pitcher out there without both a lefty and a righty warming up in the bullpen in the 9th inning, and probably also in the 8th.

    6 run lead and he walks the leadoff guy. going to be one of those days. although from gamecast 3 of the balls looked like strikes.

    I knew the Mets can kick the shit out of the brewers. People said they would be able to beat the mets in the playoffs. Bullshit, even with Sabathia.

    I started the Phillies thread too.

    6-0 Mets after 3. Sound familiar?

    My money says this game ends up close like basically every Mets game over the past 8 days.
