Better at bat for Wright that time.

which means he was completely neutralized. :) 1/8 and no RBI

    Put it in the books!

Weeks grounds into a double play to complete the 9-2 blowout and sweep of the NL team of August in their stadium.

pretty good time for a sweep. gain 3 games on the brewers and at least 1 against the phillies while they're playing the nats.

Remarkably good series, led by the bullpen (!). A win for the Nats tonight would be the perfect ending to this stretch.

What's really impressive is how hot the Brewers were coming in.

They had won 8 of 9! 6 games against Pittsburgh, but it's still damn impressive.

    Think of it this way:

We were facing one of the top 5 teams in baseball and the hottest team in the NL.

The Phillies were facing the worst team in baseball.

We picked up at least one game.

Nice didn't see this coming at all..... now time to not lose any momentum. Fortunately the Astros aren't on the horizon. I'll certainly take a sweep in the next series though.

Very nice sweep and a great road trip, we have to continue riding the momentum for the Phillies.

2-1 Phillies. Still in the first. Blanton and Odalis Perez getting knocked around.

Nats win 9-7. Who had the Mets gaining two games the past three days?

Well, I thought the Mets would win at least 2 games vs Milwaukee. I didn't think the other team would lose three though. I figured the Mets win pick up one game in the deal.

Leigh Bodden- he's starting for all three of my fantasy teams on Sunday
