Remarkably good series, led by the bullpen (!). A win for the Nats tonight would be the perfect ending to this stretch.
What's really impressive is how hot the Brewers were coming in. They had won 8 of 9! 6 games against Pittsburgh, but it's still damn impressive. Think of it this way: We were facing one of the top 5 teams in baseball and the hottest team in the NL. The Phillies were facing the worst team in baseball. We picked up at least one game.
Nice didn't see this coming at all..... now time to not lose any momentum. Fortunately the Astros aren't on the horizon. I'll certainly take a sweep in the next series though.
