Naglfar and Dissection are both pretty accessible bands If youre looking for some of the classics...Gorgoroth, Darkthrone, Immortal, Burzum, but theyre somewhat raw and more traditional. Still essential stuff though, if youre just getting your BM sea legs :up: Behexen and Xasthur are two of the better newer BM bands, but they both have a pretty traditional and raw sound

Great buildup and flow, the drums are hypnotic.
^ I personally liked A Blaze In The Northern Sky more Someone just showed me the Tribute to Mayhem cd. Pretty cool stuff, some great covers on it

Mine too, but I find Transylvanian Hunger is a better recommendation for people not used to the band, it is an easier listen.

Ibanez makes the best 7 strings.. In fact, it's prolly the only good kind of axe they make for extreme metal
Ibanez and Jackson make some really good 7 strings. Unless you've been playing for a long time I wouldn't recommend one though. Edit: I see you heathens are crapping on BC Rich's in the guitar thread. I still love mine though.
:lol: Ive never touched a BC Rich myself, to be honest, so I cant say anything about em performance-wise. But I know someone who owns a Warlock, and supposedly they really do emphasize looks over sound. And IMO they look a tad bit fruity to begin with anyways, so why bother, right?
