I've never been a big thrash fan but I'm so going to this show.

I think Testament came to my city... if they did and I missed it... That's my major regret for 2007.

I'm pretty sure Alex Skolnick is back in Testament. It should be awesome.

[IMG]The new album is great! Met the band the other day in West Babylon, they signed my copy of the new cd and a poster and gave me some Type-O guitar picks.

Yeah, it's all original members except for Clemente, they have Nick Barker playing drums now.

No, I have no idea what to expect, although I'm pretty sure I'll get rigorously laid afterward since Peter Steele seems to get the ladies pretty worked up.

Nice, I'll have to listen to it when I get home to a machine with some speakers.

Damn, I had never heard their cover of Satan's Fall. Good stuff.

    In depressing news:

Billboard.com reports that Lamb of God, Hatebreed and Lordia are among the first acts to be revealed for the 2007 Ozzfest tour. Lamb of God and Lordi will perform on the main stage with headliner Ozzy Osbourne, while Hatebreed will headline the second stage, supported by Mondo Generator, Ankla, Circus Diablo, Nile and The Showdown. The 24-city tour begins July 12 in Seattle.

I guess Nile lost a bet.

  18. It's about time they got a true death metal band to play ozz fest. All the more reason to hate metalcore.

So, I bought the new Dying Fetus today (War of Attrition).

    If you're a fan, you'll like it.

If you're not a fan, you'll still like it.

Definitely an improvement from Stop at Nothing.

Getting to see Nile play for free is worth putting up with the mediacore malltwats that'll be a Ozzfest.
