layout a lot different..but life is change Haha actually like it ..hope it brings us luck You have to tone down the background a bit please its way to bright Other than that Cheers!
I made some style changes to signatures last night. It should now be easier to separate them from the rest of a post.
Seems like a lighter build, easier to navigate from the previous interface's processing, although the format is obviously different. The user menu is a bit different, but I like it better. Aside from the signature aspect that you were able to reconfigure, what is there that users should be aware of from a functional standpoint?
Looks nice. Agree that it's very bright. Might invert the colors on my iPad for a bit. Kelly green quote boxes would be cool.
There's nothing different really functionality wise. It's the same Xenforo message board as before, just the latest version with a different theme.
OK - I've noticed a few things that seem to be flaws to me. Some may just be my lack of understanding. All of this is using Chrome. The notifications flag in the top right - when I hover over new notifications it will drop down the new notifications, then quickly collapse them and clear the flag. This doesn't happen all the time but often. I believe what's supposed to happen is that it stays expanded and the notifications don't get cleared until I click on them. I have my thread settings configured to order posts in descending order (newest posts first). This works sometimes, but a lot of the time I open a thread and it takes me to the first post made in the thread. It should be taking me to the last post. Of course I can navigate using the page links but I used to be able to just click the thread and go to the last post every time. The wysiwyg editor sometimes gets glitchy and slow. The cursor will keep blinking and doesn't allow me to click and start typing. I believe this has to do with slowly loading ads in the background but I haven't verified this. If I have time I'll break out fiddler next time this happens and get you more details. The wysiwyg editor also caches posts I've started writing even after I've manually gone in and deleted them. It doesn't remove them from the cache until I make another post. This may have been an issue in the last version as well but for some reason I seem to be seeing it more lately. From the list of forums view, threads that have new posts in them show as links I've already read. I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe in the prior version the links would show as new when new posts were made in them since I last clicked on them. Actually, now that I look at my screen shot it seems it's just all the links on the right are gray. I never read many of those forums that show gray links.
I created a dark theme about 3 yrs ago but because of the board upgrade I cant use it anymore. Why not select a theme that has a darker option? Many have been asking for this for a long time now. Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using Tapatalk
Unfortunately the new lay out hasn't helped the Jets play any better. Jeeeez. But it IS easier to bitch about them!!!!
finally broke out fiddler since I was getting a virus download from TGG and found one 404 ad. Not Found The requested URL /AdServer/339937596 was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.24 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.24 OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips mod_fastcgi/2.4.6 Server at image2.pubmatic.com Port 80
