I know Woodhead is the feel good story but I think Washington would benefit us more down the stretch.
I hope you're right, and CW's on the opening day roster.

Is CW still eligible for the practice squad?

I think he is per the strange rules. Players are only eligible to serve two seasons on the SAME practice squad, can't have played more than 9 regular season games, and once signed off a practice squad must spend 3 weeks on the 53 man roster.

Since we signed Chauncey with 3 games remaining last year, he never went to our PS and would have two seasons of eligibility. I'm almost positive he hasn't played enough games to be ineligible.

Someone put up a poll. Which of the three should we keep? I would keep Washington followed by McKnight. Woodhead is a good story but I don't think he's got NFL level physical ability.

    I'd keep Joe McKnight!

In my humble opinion, give that kid 'space' (he's a 'kid'), you might find some gold in them thar' hills.

I see "yes" in this kid. Please, not yet; don't give up on him! There's a TD (or 2-or3)-off-a-kick-return in him...jmho. Give him time....!

You need to keep posting. This board has been suffering from a quality 'joe' shortage since the Raiders game last year.

    LMAO~!

I'm either getting biatched slapped (above), or, maybe we're on the same page..given 'history' I'm not sure-wink..

Whatever, I'm stickin' to my guns. This kid can break it and is more than worth it...I more than like his potential........again, jmho...

in the rose bowl as a "kid?".....vs. Az.St. in '08?....diamond in the rough....

This. That's why if you sign one, you have to keep him on your active roster for 3 weeks. It keeps them from bouncing around and allows them to get paid a little more.

Leon would cost too much, and would of been a malcontent bitching for his big payday.

We all wish life was as simple as your thought process. Everyone with a brain knows Leon wasn't going to stay a Jet because of his contract demands.

Looking at your 3 other awesome posts just to get to 10, I bet you'll be here for a long time.

    I'm NOT "Raider-JOE" ... whoever the phuck he/she is........

If you are so much as trying to make a a connection between me ('joe') and by extension, "Raider-Joe" than all I can say 'Milquetoast boy' is you've not a clue what you're talking about...
