I don't think she really has a say in the matter. McFadden doesn't have to live in the city and in actuality it would probably be better to live in NJ closer to the new Jets camp to avoid a long commute.
this is not solely directed at you just using your post to make points. i dont know whether she has been to jersey and seen what goes on there or if she thinks that because he would be drafted by the new york jets that he would end up living there. of course she doesnt have a choice in the matter, but as a mother maybe she wants what she feels is the best for her son. she might see the bright lights big city and worry about all the things that come with it. she may be from the south and like the way things are down there as opposed to here. she may now be over protective of him because she knows that she didnt do the right things when he was growing up. her not knowing what state a city is in may be due to a lack of education or travel. that is much different than channing crowder not knowing about england, why you ask because he WENT TO COLLEGE. i would like to put some of you in the situation that she probably came from and see how you all turn out. just because she did bad things in the past and very well may again doesnt mean that she doesnt care for her son and his well being and want the best for him in life.
I read one quote from her where she mentioned Dallas, Atlanta, and Tennessee. She didn't have those places confused there, so I don't know what some of you folks are talking about. Crowder was joking.

Liberals are ruining the country. Yes, lets feel bad for the crack addicts of the world. They came from tough upbringings and poor environments and miserable lives. Lets give them all hugs. But a mom picking up the crack pipe ... no F-ing excuses, NONE. No, I didn't grow up a block from the McFaddens but I deal with people like this all the time. Everyone stop trying to evaluate her "thoughts" about being close to home ... she is an ignorant crack head, try not to read more into it than that. And yes, I am prejudice against crackheads, drug dealers, burglars, moms doing crack and raising their childred, bad drivers, patriot fans and especially people that walk around with that bluetooth thing in their ear...only in the car A-holes !
im glad u brought this up, of all the off field issue talk on mcfadden none of it bothers me except his mother. shes literally even been quoted as saying "i want to run his (dmc) business" funny thing is you never hear mcfadden talk about his mom. she sounds like a recovering rockhead whos looking to cash in. and the fact she wants him even closer to home proves she wants to keep control of him. whats even funnier is DMC sounds like hed love to be a Jet. so all of this talk from his mother is crazy talk from a crazy bitch. if he ends up here hopefully his sister can keep him level headed cuz appearantly the mother is now the red flag in his off field issues, the other shit is peanuts.
maybe McFadden's mom will run up to the stage and put on the Jersey and hat, shake Goodell's hand, and pose for pictures when her son gets drafted.
