I don't think you saw last weeks game did you. Tebow is not the same after gaining all those lbs.

    That's the correct decision.

He played decent under the circumstances, but to me it's not enough to make me feel comfortable with him starting in 2013.

"No, of course not, Theres this guy named Tim Tebow who we insisted on trading for why not play him for two meaningless games."

That ship has sailed. He is the most sure person connected to this team to be gone next year. More sure than Tannenbaum, more sure than Matt Cavanaugh (well, probably), more sure than Fireman Ed. There is absolutely NO reason for him to even suit up next week.

Rex wants to secure the highest draft pick possible.

It wasn't a spectacular start by any measure but it wasn't an embarrassing performance like Sanchez was last week. Looking forward to see what he can do next week.

    Are y'all serious?

    McElroy was horrible today.

    That bwoy arm is shot.

Kerley got a bigger arm than McElroy.

To make matters worse Greg is sluggish in the pocket.

He takes forever to go through his reads.

Greg can't even slide into the pocket to make a throw.

Where's the composure, pocket presence, poise?

This Greg kid has no clutch gene.

With him as the starter the D Fense gotta keep teams under 17 points.

McElroy was drafted in the 7th round for a reason.

I'd honestly rather Kerley start against Buffalo at this point.

Exactly! Wtf he avoided sacks? Lmao.

He looked good out there? If u mean handsome, or sharp in a uniform bcuz other than that he was brutal along with the whole offense.

It's so damn obvious that Sanchez is the scapegoat of the team this year. The online has been crappy the whole year, Sanchez haters just realized it now, pretty sad.

With Sanchez as the starter, the defense had to keep it to 10 points or less.

Nobody is defending him. Everyone is saying, look Sanchez wasn't holding back this juggernaut offense. This offense is below average without Sanchez. With Sanchez he just accelerates their ineffectiveness on offense. The offense is still bad without him. Switching QBs isn't a magical switch because this offense isn't good

Mario Williams is probably going to get enough sacks to earn his salary in one week if the O-line mails this one in too.

You guys are why this team doesn't deserve a Super Bowl again.

What a bunch of fair-weather fans.

Right call to start McElroy, but for all those saying he looked great out there, I'm a bit surprised. He looked OK. Average.

And to say he looks like the Jets' Tom Brady is blasphemy. Maybe he will end up being that, but nothing from today's performance suggests that.

Hope he does better next week.

Give him a chance people! His passes were crisp and he showed some great moves to avoid pressure. Kid has a cannon too...did you see that pass to Chaz Shilling?

Tebow's gone after this season, why play him unless we were going to trade him, which obviously we won't be.
McElroy ahs at least deserved this shot and so far has made the most of it, despite some very very miserable performances.

No other choice would make sense. Obivously bringing back Sanchez would be ridiculous, and since Tebow will be gone, why play him?
