But I will still be around here, just not in the game thread as usual. :)

It just wouldn't be the same without me.

Why should Tebow start? He has had an entire preseason and season of practice to prove he can run the Jets offense and obviously showed he can't. The Jets have given up on Tebow. What good does starting him do?

    Please explain why. Thoroughly.

Right, so simply for continuity sake, we should continue to keep this regime in place despite overwhelming evidence that it is both incompetent and overmatched? Good idea.

And yes, Woody IS an imbecile.

    Are you for real?

Sanchez had an entire regular season to prove that he can't run the Jets offense. Rex should be fired for this, today.

Joke of a post. Sanchez has had 4 seasons to prove he can run the offense and obviously showed he can't.

    Sanchez homers are pathetic

Why isn't it possible McElroy hid the symptoms?

The Regime? Not necessarily. The HC? Yes. The HC's coaching is what permeates a team and the league. While Rex may have been voted "most overrated" he is still well liked by current and former players. People don't want to play for Rex cause he's over rated, its cause he's an excellent teacher and backs you up as a coach.

While he may be lacking the HC/team management skills, he's still a good coach and the Offensive side of the ball will come to him in time.

I know, he's a great DC but he sucks as an HC. How many of you would have said the same thing about Bellicheat when he got booted out of Cleveland? Now he's considered an Offensive and HC genius. Give Rex the chance to grow.

Actually Sanchez can run the offense but is inconsistent, that's what drives real JETS fans new, but Tebow happens to be consistently limited as a qb.

Off topic: The thing that really bothers me abt Tbo is he is such a publicity whore. He can't say no to the Mic, or camera. He can't sit his a$s down like most back ups. The amount of coverage he got in the early year, and he is talking is beyond me.

He is a good guy but he needs to go to Jacksonville asap.

His play for the last two years has proven otherwise.

The rational well thought out argument of a knowledgeable football fan completely dispassionate about the subject. When it comes to Mark Sanchez you are clearly a savant, I salute you.

I think the Jets are scared Tebow would come out with a win.

Because their QB and skill position players sucked together.

He was new and hadn't played in over a year. We lost all ours, with a new OC

Aside from the first game in his rookie season Sanchez has handled the Bills quite well. They may be licking their chops based on his season but he usually beats them and beats them pretty easily.
