If I was a complete cynic I would say yeah Joshy broke his hand and now he can’t screw up the season tank plus he might ask for a Fitz like contract with the outstretched other hand...but no he is a decent guy with a family of four..I am sure he had a savings plan Heal up young man and move on..
Hopefully this means, Petty/Hack the rest of the way, which should mean the Jets can manage to lose out and at least have an option to trade up for a top QB.
If Blowes had NOT put McCown back in after the initial injury, perhaps his hand wouldn't have gotten wrecked. Blowes couldn't get Petty off the field fast enough because of course, Petty sucks. All Blowes had to do was SIT McCown the rest of the game and we wouldn't be having this conversation today. Piss poor judgement by the HC of the NYJ's.

McCown was awesome this season and WAY better than I ever thought he could be. Blame Mac for McCown's season ending early. This is the shithead that refuses to draft OL.
