Mccariens stinks and Brad Smith should be no more then our 4th wr that gets a trick play here and there. When your best player on offense is out and these guys all have to step into bigger roles they get exposed.

just more proof that our coach is not ready for the nfl, and his inability to rate talent!

I can recall at least 12 drops by him this season... He has somewhere between 10 and 12 catches

When you are paid in excess of 1 million dollars per year to catch passes, you better be able to catch more than you drop

I hate JMac but does anyone really think those 2 drop balls yesterday meant anything. We just suck.

should we draft a top flight wr in the draft? i'm starting to believe so, after the line is addressed in draft or fa.

True, but the fact of the matter is that good teams do all the little things right. Holding on to the ball when the QB hits you is one of those little things...

The point is to correct all of the flaws, not to put all of the blame on one of the flaws.

I agree, but we have all known for years JMac sucks and at this point the team is just down right horrible.

And improvement is not made when the most obvious flaws are not addressed..

I Think he's dropped 500 passes this season alone.

    No.
I'd rather they go the FA route.
Bernard Berrian is an unrestricted free agent and is the deep threat the Jets need.

D.J. Hackett, Bryant Johnson, Drew Carter, and Patrick Crayton are other UFAs. Of course, there's also Randy Moss.

I am truthfully surprised he wasn't cut after the Ravens game, and not because of his drop that game, but I thought that it was then last straw back then.

Oh yeah man...the guy has 3 catches for 39 yards on the season. Mix would dominate on the Jets. There's a reason why this guy spent last year on the practice squad.
