    Joe Douglas should win Executive of the Year after that deal today. We need to credit Adam Gase too though. If his reputation was not so bad, no one would have traded anything for Sam. Many people (including myself) really thought Gase held back Sam and he could succeed elsewhere. Now that is looking less likely.

    Carolina got a steal. Conditional pick and the Browns paying most his salary this year. Don’t count Mayfield out I think he could have a revival

    Maybe he would just prefer to play than waste a year of his life, you really think him making 15m instead of 18m is going to get him down lol, that is 15 million pounds minus whatever tax you pay over there.

    He has landed a chance to secure a #1 spot at a team, maybe next year after a season of inactivity he would be 3m richer with no team wanting him.

    Mayfield is likely to beat Darnold like a redheaded stepchild, which come to think of it Sam is right about now.
