Free agency starting doesn't mean anything. The legal tampering period started yesterday and already the top FAs are off the board with deals in place. I hear nothing Jets related except MAYBE they want to sign Hoyer or Mallet. Nothing about McCourty, they lost out on Orlando Franklin, lost out on Kareem Jackson, lost out on Byron Maxwell, Suh is off the board, etc... You would think the team would at LEAST speak to some guys by now.
Wait, Orlando Franklin resigned? So far we did miss presumably for one overpaid CB, Maxwell, which for all we know had no intentions of going elsewhere. We don't know what's going on with McCourty, Jackson resigned with his old team, I believe Suh is a joke of a signing, so I'm not quite ready to despair yet. Our push should be for McCourty, I do agree and a CB.

Agree completely. The first indication of a rumor now is usually a fact that we made the move. If by tomorrow afternoon I hear that either Mallet or McCourty are moving to the white and green I will freak of happiness. May be even happier if I hear Buffalo signs one more running back for the ultimate ground and pound.

I'm so tired of idiot Jets fans stating that the entire fate of the team rests on whether Revis is brought back. There are 45 players on an active roster. Signing a 30 year old CB or not is not going to make or break this team. I'd much rather beef up the OL, find a pass rusher, and concentrate on the QB position than chase Revis' shadow and greed for another offseason. He, and his ridiculous greed, have been the focus of every offseason since 2007 and it is very very old. I hope and pray he signs with NE before Tuesday so this fan base can finally move on.
