Now you're changing your argument in regards to Johnson. Yes, Johnson should be used as a pass catching back but you are wrong saying Ivory is being used that way. He's not lol He's had 5 catches in 4 games. Thats not a pass catching back
Marty is in a rebuilding year as far as his football knowledge is concerned. Be patient, these things don't change overnight.
Ivory's never been known to be much of a factor on passing plays, which is why he never got to see time in New Orleans. He could not become a blocker, which we saw today on the 2nd drive when he whiffed on a Lions pass rusher. And I love Ivory but these aren't his strengths. He's a beast you feed the ball to conventionally. Yeah it only took him 1/4 of the season to figure that one out.
I didn't change shit. Flawed stat logic, you don't hold the number of drops or targets in that stat. Nice try buddy.
Flawed. Of course it is! Ivory isn't Darren Sproles Marty!!!! Even though Sproles has had over 14 receptions so far and Ivory only 5, stop using him like he is!!! Damn you Marty
I will give Geno that. He is given contradicting plays on every series. It's a hard system to learn and Marty sucks
Yeah lets throw career numbers out the door. Don't be cute, you know who the better receiving back of the two is.
That's not the point lol You're saying things like "stop trying to use Ivory like Sproles" when he's not. Sproles has hauled in over 14 passes this season. Ivory has hauled in and targeted 5 times. That's not using him like Sproles.
He doesn't have the pass catching ability or ability to throw down a block for this team like Sproles does but we continue to have Ivory out on these plays like he has a reputation for doing stuff that's been out of his element dating back to his Saints days. He's good for what he is, which is what Marty doesn't comprehend. Its frustrating because vs the Bears, we don't go to him for runs up the gut late in the game when he's racking all plenty of it and today we start to have him run to the outside to make plays by catching the ball when he's not natural at it.
Yes. Geno Smith is actually the only player on offense. He dropped three first down passes that he threw to himself. He also didn't block well and let himself get nailed mid throw. He's really bad in the secondary too. He gave up a lot of long passes on third and long.
Yeah, his turnovers didn't cost us three games already. Everyone else did. Geno did not single handedly lose us three games lol it was the dropped passes and secondary.
He's a scapegoat for the fans to use when the team sucks just like Sanchez. It sucks because the media knows the fans eat this up and will put a point of emphasis on having the QB singled out for the failures of this team when other players should be held accountable for their follies too.
New Owner? Really? C'mon Man... We deal with reality here. No new owner.. Its not gonna happen any time soon. Take another path.
