OMG DO U EVEN F***ING READ POST WHEN YOU REPLY TO THEM! No one is denying that the pats said what you are claiming they said. Nobody is saying that you're just pulling facts out of your ass. All we're saying is that you can't take all that for truth. The pats aren't gonna say "holy shit guys he's gonna be really affected and wont be able to carry the ball that often without fumbling and is probably gonna get reinjured. Every team's response to this situation is "he'll be fine and we'll see if it affects him or not". Again, the "he'll be fine" statement doesn't really tell us much. You are trolling because you are constantly misinterpreting what we are saying and you act as if anything the pats say and do is infallible. We start with the trolling crap when you start annoying everyone by doing shit like this. Just stop it.
ok let's quit it with the flamewars because this is a topic that merits discussion and doesnt deserve to get locked
The patriots stated he would be "uneffected" to news outlets according to the Boston media I was listning to 5 min ago. Take that anyway you want. The rumor was the surgery was supposed to repair a shoulder that popped in and out of the socket. A problem he had since college. If that is the case the surgery would correct the problem forever , and is fairly common in the NFL. I dont pay much attention to what people think of me. Just posted the most recent story.
you have to be the worst troll in the history of the internet...the sad thing is youre still in denial:rofl:
LOL BB never lies. Maroney is an extremely talented back. However he has really never carried the the bulk yet. So it remains to be seen whether their staff thinks he can. One thing for sure is the Pats have 2 firsts and not a lot of holes to fill. If they take an RB then we will know what their thinking is, whether they think what most everyone else thinks. That Maroney is better served as a platoon guy and not a workhorse. All things being equal I wish the Jets had worries such as these................... 1-2 holes to fill. I suppose that is 2-3 years away.
They definitely have to take a back. Dillon is gone, Faulk is geting older, and Maroney had three injuries in his first season, including one that required off-season surgery. They wouldn't load up on all the free agents that they have signed and then leave Running Back so up in the air. I hope they pick one right before our pick, since we just got a RB.
One thing we do know for sure. The Pats are not going to tip their hand until they draft , so until then, we have to assume Maroney is fine (which I doubt). Or BB could playing his mind games again.
Now now don't forget Sammy Morris. One thing I will not do as PF has pointed out is begin to think what the pats will do on draft day. I have to hand it to them on draft day they are about as good as you will find. They also have the big time luxury of picking the BPA. I suppose the Jets can pick BPA too, it is just that we can upgrade pretty much anyone save a few players not because of the paucity of holes to fill.
Just a little FYI to people that aren't familiar with Boston writers. Tomase is an idiot. Reiss is not. If Reiss states anything that conflicts what Tomase states, put your money on Reiss. Regardless if Maroney is ready by preseason, it's still going to hurt that he's missing workouts. He still needs to bulk up. Went down from arm tackles way too many times last year.
