When Doug Brien couldn't find the uprights, I could blame him and the Herminator, and at least the Herminator's failure in Kansas City is exposing everyone to the fraud that he is.

When Charles Smith decided that he'd rather play wall ball with the Bulls, I could blame him for being too much of a pansy to muscle his way to the rim and the refs for being the incompetent officials that they always were.

When John Starks decided to shit the bed in Houston, I could blame Pat Riley for holding back Hubert Davis and Rolando Blackman.

When the Mets continue to find new ways to choke, I may just have to stop watching because I can't root for these losers anymore even though I like certain individuals on this team. From Fred Wilpon on down, they still have no collective baseball spine and I could use the extra hours in the day anyway.
