You contribute nothing to this board. It's sad to see you show up every Sunday after a losing effort.

    1. The line was average.

    2. Agree

    3. Agree - fuckin Sherry Rhodes

    4. Indisputable,

however the game I saw today was still winnable without 4 interceptions and a fumble by Sancho. I'm not giving up on the dude, but he needs a break. There will be other intelligent people on this board who hold the same opinion and we are not all idiots, ftr.

Didn't mean to seem to be sticking up for that seth douche...please understand that.

A lot of you guys have unrealistic expectations for a rookie QB on an average to below average team.

The 3rd INT thrown was a mistake that you learn not to make in Pop Warner football. I totally understand that Sanchez needs to learn and grow, but I would hope that he would be getter better each week, instead of getting worse. He has drastically deteriorated in the last several weeks. I would also think he is the lowest ranked QB playing in the NFL now. I don't have an answer, but something needs to happen.

It doesn't matter to the Sanchez nut huggers how badly he plays, how many INT's he throws or the fumbles after holding the ball too long. They love the Jalepeno, and anyone who doesn't they call an idiot or worse.

His vision of the field isn't very good, he often never sees open recievers. This kid can't even hit the sideline when it's way past time to throw the ball away. That isn't just bad, it's pathetic.

But, it's too late to do do anything about it. Now he has to play and we have to hope he improves, I mean shit, he can't get any worse, can he? In the meantime I hope Ryan doesn't lose the team and they play hard every week. Hopefully there will be enough improvement by the end of the season to convince the FA's we want that this team can win next year. That includes Leon.

The bed has been made.... and you are in it with Sanchez if you are a Jets fan, like it or not. I had my doubts when we drafted him, but didn't think he'd be this awful.

If it makes anyone feel better, Sanchez will probably have a decent game against Carolina next week. So then we can go back to blaming Schotty if we lose the game.

Honestly, just let the season play out. Even though Sanchez played like shit today, he did have one drive where he made excellent throws, one going for a touchdown.

So the real NFL starts week 4 now? We are 1-6 since starting 3-0, the is no disputing that kind of insight. However I will dispute that Sanchez is responsible for losing all 6 of those games. I would argue that he played well enough to win 4 out of those 7 games. He is a rookie who has been inconsistent, sitting him will do no one any good.

I'm glad you knew he would get bad but before you pull a muscle trying to pat yourself on the back I would maybe wait a couple years before making a final determination on the guys career.

Sanchez's decision-making has been poor all season, and the problem isn't that he's a rookie, its that there's been no indicators of imporvement, and his confidence has him in a damn rut.

In the beginning, he was rash, made horrible decisions, and everyone overlooked them, largely because we were winning. BUT, they were also overlooked largely because of his confidence, which allowed him to overcome mistakes with some phenomenal plays that put the team in a position to win.

Problem is, most folks would expect his decision-making to improve and confidence remain high, or even improve through the season. However, it is his decision-making that has remained constant (poor) while his confidence has decreased. I think that is why his INTs are a result of both bad decision-making, and also good decision-making but bad throws (2nd INT of the game today for example).

I got a little too defensive because I actually thought you were sticking up for that jerkoff.

You can't really hold the fumble against Sanchez in this one - it was almost meaningless. Yea, he held the ball too long, but the game was already out of reach.

People assume that I don't blame Sanchez for any of his mistakes - they're wrong. The interception that Sanchez should've thrown away was the worst decision he's made all year. I understand that he's going to make some incredibly awful throws while he develops, and a lot of others don't.

I don't think our coaching staff can bench him now. If they do that, then Sanchez could lose every ounce of his confidence. Leave him in...even if struggles horrible.

Like I said earlier in the thread - if he is horrible a few years down the road, then I'll give up on him...but until then, he's my team's quarterback, so I'll support him.

Agreed 100% gulbane...It's the fact that he's not getting ANY better is what is so frustrating. For a guy from SC who's been banging song girls all his life, he's got no confidence. I've officially entered the "Don't Care" zone for the rest of the season.
