I keep hearing about gettting Nnamdi.. Thats cool n all, but we NEED DE/LB who can get after the passer Constantly.. Mark Sanchez played good last yr in the AFC championship game, He didn't lose that Game for the team.. Neither did he lose the game for the team today.
Good thread, guys. This guy has been our best player the past two AFCC. He needs a bit more consistency in his game, but he has show that his best is more than good enough to take us ahead, and he's usually playing at or near his best.
"and i'm sure there is more" You do a great job in backing up your completely baseless assumption. We have a few guys to re-sign, and we will re-sign them. We have the draft and just made it to another AFCCG without Jenkins. The core of our team is young.
It does feel incomplete. It sucks that we ended the game on a 3rd and 6 pass completion. I really think if our offense gets the ball back with 1:40 left we are going to win.
He DOES HAVE A Clue: This was supposed to be our year! And after waiting for the past 42 years of rooting for a Sh*t franchise, we came out completely flat in the first half and gave the Steelers the game. I can ask you right: have you been waiting for 42 years to even see us playing in the Super Bowl?!? Well?!? This team was Stacked to win it all, and we fell hard. F' the second half, in no way shape or hell were we going to come back and beat this defensive. 42 years............... 42 years!
He impressed me for sure - not only the way we played, but the mental and physical toughness that he showed. I'd proudly wear his jersey.
Mark Sanchez was good in the AFC Championship game today and last year. The sad part is that we need to learn to play defense for a whole game instead of half a game. One day we will get over the hump.
Who the fuck are you to trash Sanchez? He is only 24 years old, and has been in the AFC Championship game in his first two seasons in the league. How many AFC Championship games have your fucking Patriots been in in the past two years? None, a big fat zero! So shut the fuck up. Sanchez is going to cram it up your ass for the next decade or so. You'd better stock up on KY Jelly.
Think Sanchez has it in him to catch up to the Giants in rings? Giants have 3, Jets have 1. Time will tell!
I think Sanchez has a real unique ability to play his best when there's a lot of pressure put on him. He really is a tremendously talented quarterback, and I have little doubt he'll end up as the best QB to ever play for the Jets. I'm only 23, but I know that that he's definitely the first franchise quarterback this team has had in some time.
Typical fucking SOJF garbage. DAAAAMN IT I wish they'd have won it all this year so you sojf zombies would go away forever. The Jets at long last have a great coach and a franchise qb, this team will be back.
