I'd rather see him pass some tds, but Mariota was pretty good on that drive.

Actually I think Big Ben is a better comparison for Winston given the size. Mariota isn't gonna shake guys off like he does. I definitely wouldn't call him a "run first" QB but I'm definitely skeptical of how much he resorts to doing it.

nah, hes a run first QB.

700+ rushing yards a year? those are reaching RB numbers.

Hes not bad in the pocket but lets not kid ourselves, he's more likely to book it in the first sign of trouble till/unless he's broken out of it by coaches.

I think MM may be faster but it's closer than one might think. What's more important than straight line speed though is lateral quickness to move around in the pocket to by time to make throws down field. I think MM has that over Kaep by a decent margin. RGIII is way faster than Wilson but Wilson has the agility advantage which is the better asset to have as a QB.

I got bad news for you bud, you are part of the same fanbase. :) We are not judging anybody. Just stating our opinion based on this game. Not our job to judge. There are professionals to do that.

I'm referring to the cap ramifications whiffing on a QB used to have. If MM does not pan out he's not setting us back 5 years.

    NFLDRAFTSCOUT.COM has him at 4.42 low, 4.52 and 4.64 high, Kaepernick was showing 4.43, 4.53, 4.65 pre-draft

Both are excellent throwers on the run and are scrambling QBs. They run spread offenses. Mariota is more accurate while CK has elite arm strength.

I'll take Sarah Roundtree from the Dr Pepper challenge. Best throwing of the night by far.

    Put down the bong bruh.

Mariota has constantly moved Oregon down the field and hasn't turned the ball over, and yet all you jag offs do is criticize a couple bad throws. I swear, we could have Tom fucking Brady and this fanbase will still find something to bitch about. Fkn worse than women.
