Wonder who would be the best fit for someone like Mariota?! Best team that is.

6th overall pick would be a bit too rich for my blood, but I would easily offer a 2nd round pick. I do think Mett will be a solid QB in this league.

It's pretty much agreed upon that if Mariota is available at 6, you either take him or go shopping for picks, right?

Good God gentlemen! The guy was a 6th round pick, played ok, got hurt again, and you think he would command a 1st or 2nd round pick? You don't pay for what you think he will be, you pay for what he is worth. And right now, I say he's worth no more than a 5th round pick with another late pick thrown in - at best.

Just because 2-4 don't need a QB doesn't mean one won't get drafted there. If Kelly really wants Mariotta he'll trade above us and the Skins.

So since oj got away with something everyone is guilty until proven innocent now

What evidence o there that he raped that girl besides her word? Chick's lie all the time how do we know she didn't let him smash then regretted it?

I think he was trying to make the illogical leap that since some of us think Tenn would skip over Mariota because of Mett, therefore Mett = Mariota therefore Mett = the 6th pick in the draft.

Which is silly, but I think that was his point.

Don't get me wrong he marched up and down the field and on paper he looked great... Once he got inside that red zone though.............

of course the ez answer is always Brady, but they've had great defenses on and off without a top pick and even without brady they went 11-5. Plus when Beli drafted not one but 2 TEs with high picks he got crucified until Hernandez and the Gronk began winning games. So, are the Pats really good a drafting in the bottom every year, something we should look at, or is it 'just Brady', nothing to see here folks?

I think its a combination of the two... Brady elevates the play of everyone that walks through those doors.. He expects nothing but perfection out of his players and guys play hard for him because they know he is a master of his craft. The other part of it is coaching.. The Pats develop guys better than any team in the league.. We don't.
