and come on, we need "players", we need impact players, as in, defensive, and offensive, the OL depth is huge in this draft and we have two 4th rounders, one of those could easily be an OL guy, or even both could, two guys who could try to prove themselves amongst the three experienced guys we still have on the line, and perhaps another veteran through a FA signing..just, no to taking even one offensive lineman in the 1st round, that's for teams that don't have holes in their regular offense or defense, not us, in a rebuilding phase. A rebuilding phase that could be accelerated if we add the impact guys with our hopefully two first round picks this year.
Depending on how the Jets figure to utilize Kendall is how they are going to draft. If Kendall is used as a center, we need to draft a tackle in the 1st or 2nd round and perhaps get a guard like in the tier of Joseph, Spencer, Lutui, or Spitz in the third round and get a project center in Round 4 or 5. If we use him as a guard, we really need to draft Mangold or Eslinger with our first pick in the second round. Again a tackle is needed in the 1st or 2nd round and we get a project guard in the 4th or 5th round like Mark Setterstrom. If we get enough day one picks to pick a OT, OG/C, DT, CB, RB we should b e in a good position to start rebuilding
