The Jets are due respect from the Pats only if they can beat the Pats. I agree. But it hasn't been exactly blowout city the last seven times the Pats and Jets have played. While the Jets are 1-6, granted, the avg. margin of victory is 6.29 points. Obviously, less than a TD. Takeo Spikes? London Fletcher? Not playmakers, anymore at least. I would even claim McGahee is a stretch. And Schoebel hasn't lit this league on fire, though he did a good job vs. the Pats last week. If Belly & your boys have Chad's # this year like they did in '04 and '03, then it will be a long day for Jets fans. But while Mangini is not Belichick, he's also no Edwards. We'll see.
After the game Mangini is gonna pull that ugly grey sweatshirt over Belichick's head and kick his ass out of the Meadowlands! Herms not here anymore Pat fans so prepare yourself for a battle!!!
Personally I find out very intriguing. Belichick gave Mangini his start in the league and no they are going head to head. And Mangini and Belichick are just as important to their teams as any single player, so i find it very intruiging
as was stated before ...this isn't mangini v. belly its jets v. pats...and true the general thought is that the pats have something to lose in reality its just a game 1 game will it be great to win - i'd be lying if i said no, but in the end most realistic jet fans came in with low expectations for this year and fielding a competitive team going in the right direction is what we want, anything beyond that i.e beating our division rivals is cake
