or maybe we'll hear about the core value bullshit again. Fuck that, I'll take killers and murderer's if they win 14 games and go the to Super Bowl. Asshole....
mangina proved his name today. pussy calls to kick it in the first, pussy move to not kick it in the fourth. pussy pussy pussy. thats all there is to it. they were even calling him out in the broadcast. i have no reason to want him here even if he wins next week and we get to the playoffs. even if we win a playoff game... still i no longer want to see him on the sideline. he is a tool and he needs to go at this point. however i really doubt that the jets show him the door. they will talk about how improved the team was this year blah blah blah. however with the people brought in and the absolute joke of an easy schedule i will not take that "improvement" bullshit.
I'm tired. I was a Big Supporter of Mangini. He doesnt have the balls to be a coach. He was talking gap assignments, right there I said enough. Fire him!!!!!!!!!!!
Mangini acts like a robot and wants his team to be robots. Is it any surprise when Seattle, a 3-11 team is all pumped up flexing, running all over the place while the Jets ho-hum through another terrible loss and Mangini just stands on the sidelines chewing gum. When is he ever going to chew this gutless team out?
He's a pussy ass dork who never played a down of high level football in his life. What do you expect? It's like we have a fantasy football nerd running an NFL team. None of the shit he preaches translates to the field or the players. Fuck this fat useless faggot.
With this fan base already dead set on this guy, I might agree. But I don't think the Jets FO is as reactionary and easily broken as it's fan base...or I hope not. Mangini should get at least another year. This is his team now...most of the players have now been acquired by him in one way or another...might as well see where that goes. I'm also amazed that people are complaining about Mangini spewing cliches...half the shit said about his cliches are cliches...in fact, 90% of the complaints made against him aren't specific...they're hindsight based analysis that almost always sounds cliche.
What's there to like? The soft defense? The inane gametime playcalling and strategic decison making? The way he has his team prepared for big games down the stretch? Yeah, he's awesome!
Accountability That was one of the greatest displays of coaching incompetence i have ever witnessed. For 4 weeks this team has been outcoached and outschemed by lesser talented squads. A MAC college coordinator could control the tempo over the game over that clueless hump Bob Sutton. The tag line is already written by the Jet loathing media. Not even the great Brett Favre could save the cursed J-E-T-S. If there was ever a justification for coach's heads to roll, the last four games are it. Disgusting.
Unfortunately, his execution the past 4 games will prevent him from commenting on the coaching staff.
I like his principles, both in terms of character and his defensive system. I think the latter is poorly implemented. I don't like the offense, I don't like Schottenheimer and I don't like Sutton. I don't know how closely Mangini is tied to these two, but I think if both are retained for next year and we do not succeed then we will see a complete change. We do not have the linebackers to be consistently successful at the moment. None of the guys we have can generate a consistent pass rush or live in coverage. Most can do neither. I think Mangini needs to be hammering on Tanenbaum's door demanding an upgrade here. I don't think he'll be canned, but I do think he'll be on a short leash next year. I like the way he comes across, I like his humour, but that's not what you hire a coach for your football team to do.
Why the hell wouldn't you be emotional NOW? We had the NFL world in our grasp and this moron blew it. Last year was a total wash due to lack of talent. This team has all the talent in the world and the fucknozzles calling the plays handcuff them with terrible gameplans. YOu should be infuriated and looking at this more objectively in terms of what was lost here.
I think you are overrating the talent on this team. Our linebacking corps in particular is not good enough to effectively implement the scheme. As soon as people figured that out we went south quickly, aided and abetted by Kris Jenkins running out of steam. We need to make a couple of key additions at LB (or see Gholston develop beyond realistic expectations) and we need another strong NT to spell Jenkins more regularly and keep him fresh. Those are the primary areas of concern on defense. Beyond that we also need better playcalling and I think for that we probably need a DC who has a better understanding of a) what the potential of the scheme allows; and b) what the talent level of the players executing the plays allows. I don't know if Mangini has the balls to make the changes that are required in the offseason. I guess we'll see. If he doesn't he'll have a lot to do to prove to me and everyone else next season that he's getting better at his job, which he obviously needs to do.
