The Jets play in the AFC East which is a lot tougher than the Saints' division. The Jets also play in the AFC as opposed to the Triple A of football, the NFC, where the Saints play.

You would think the Saints wound up going 14-2 or something, but look at that, both teams have the same record.

The writers played the sympathy card for New Orleans. This had less to do with the coaching ability and more to do with giving New Orleans some love.

The Jets weren't as bad as pps think they were before Mangini.
without the injuries they were a 8-10win playoffs team.
he got all the players back, expect one or two, and chose to let the others go. (i.e Mawae)
if the jets didn't hav the injuries last year u wud b stuck with Herman, and u cud hav had the sam about of wins this year

i think it is funny the green glasses everyone has on. think about all the statements you have made. Mangini is better then payton because of the draft, well payton drafter bush, roman harper who started and played well till injured also traded for key cogs on both lines faine and thomas in the draft, picked up soon to be perennial pro bowl o lineman Jahri Evans, also got Streif and dont forget the steal of the draft who the jets passed on various times Mr. Colston. Oh yea the only reason the jets sucked last year was they had no QB, he is now healthy, so that is all they were missing. Payton had a team where he overhauled 29 players, so to say the team is more talented it is because he brought in 29 players also brees hurt his shoulder similar to pennington but did it later in the year giving him less recovery time. and the saints got a bye in the playoffs and a better record. WHy shouldnt payton win the award, oh yea because you have green glasses on so take them off, just cause you watched every jets game doesnt mean you watched every saints game, so dont come on here being a homer and actually look into things first.
