Herm may not be a great head coach (or even a decent one for that matter), but I do admire how he managed to BS his way to becoming a millionaire. He's a world-class con artist.

You'd have that look too if your QB was turning it over 2-3 times every game.

I'd take Mariucci. He failed in detroit because look at that situation.

It's hard to win when your QB is as bad as his was.

oh okay, blame the terrible coaching and playcalling on the proven HOF QB. it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that mangini and co. just aren't that great.

at least i can admit favre played terribly at the end of the season, because of injury or whatever. but mangini had to go, and him being the first to go was the right decision. if favre wanted to be back next season i think he'd be back and he'd start. mangini never had that choice

So U R saying that ATL did badly with 3 coaches in 3 years or Balt 2 coaches in 3years or MIA 3 coaches in 3 years? You know U watch the same games as the rest of us & it was obvious that once Shanny exposed us we never made any adjustments to get back the mo we had after the TN game. The more you post the less I respect you since for whatever reason you seem to dislike change. Just look at us this year up to the Denver game we are floating along with all kind of stats to back up our run. Then Shanny shows the league how to beat us & playing a super soft cupcake schedule we could not even crawl into the POs that failure is totally on the coach plain & simple. Yes you can say BF INT did not help but what about our D that in the last 5 games could not stop the weak sisters of the poor? What about a O line that was allowing the other side to belt BF almost every pass? It is a shame that supposedly such a knowledge fan as you could not see those faults. In a TB less Pats team + a super marshmellow schedule we should have been at the least the #2 seed & maybe even the #1 seed. When the team cannot achieve that easy goal then the buck stops at the HC door & it is him who has to take the fall 1st. If you want to add Tanny to the mix that would be OK also.

I think Tanny stays. He has shown mastery of caponomics and he did assemble a talented team this year; it was the coaching that squandered everything. Favre's play was unacceptable. too. We need to move forward.

    See you later FATSO!!!

The season ended and I am still waiting for a half-time adjustment.

Not only were we beaten by the Seahawks, Niners, and Raiders, we were also outcoached each game, especially in the second halves.

And we should have lost to the Bills also but for greater incompetence.

    Good riddance!

Hey Woody, give us a new head coach is not interested in the Brett Favre side show.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Dolphins VP of Football Operations Bill Parcells is telling those close to him that he would consider coaching again if the right situation comes about.
Parcells has an out in his contract if Wayne Huizenga sells the Fins to current minority owner Stephen Ross. ESPN reported Sunday that Parcells might jump to another team as GM, but the Star-Ledger says the Tuna would be interested in coaching the talent he evaluates. Any team pursuing Parcells would obviously have to realize he's a short-term solution. If Parcells does return to the sidelines, the Jets would appear to be his best fit. Dec. 29 - 2:51 pm et
