I'm in WSW. I think once you 360'ers try a PS3 for a bit, you won't go back. I doubt too that different platforms will be able to compete against eachother. As I live the other side of the pond, I would have to play MNF  The other cool thing about this league is anyone online in that league can view the game  HOW COOL IS THAT
I have too much invested in 360 games to make the switch. If I get another RRoD I may have to get the PS3 anyway though. Stupid POS. Anywho - this league was your idea, but most of the players are 360. Maybe we'll have to setup a league for each system - let's see how many sign up. I don't think I'll be watching other peoples games unless it's the superbowl and I'm not in it. I mean, it's cool that you CAN, but I just don't see myself doing that.
Can't see any problem with a 360 and PS3 league. Oh, I think with a bit of pre-game trash talk some of the games will be watchable
Count me in for the 360. I got an associate position for the summer so Im not sure how much time I'l have but I guess I can always make time for some madden
I would love to play 360 Have a few questions How many days/week are you talking? Sundays? Do you need to buy Madden 09 or is it Madden 08 with updates?

It will be Madden 09 when it comes out. Online play forces you to use roster updates. I think we should try and do one week a week, so each person should play one game a week unless they have a bye week. It would be up to the teams playing each other to coordinate a time to play during the week. That's just my opinion though, others may have different ideas.
Week to week will mean the entire season will be 4 months long. Do we want the season to be that long?
That actually wouldn't bother me, but if we have that weeks matchups, surely its down to the two GMs to arrange a suitable time.
That would be fine with me, and I think it would be difficult to do it quicker. Think about 32 people with different schedules need to play a game a week - it could be difficult to get that much done at times. Maybe come playoff time we could move a little quicker, but I see 1 game a week (per person) as a reasonable pace. What would you propose?
I agree. If neither GM can get to play the game, then an agreement should be struck , sim the game. But everyone should be able to get a game done within the week. There may be spare teams as well, so some might be against a sim.
