Lowery had tight coverage on many of the plays he was beat on. Peyton is just the man. No matter how good your coverage is there is always a pass that will beat you. Garcon was running great routes as well. You have to give the Colts a lot of credit rather than flaming a guy who had a really tough assignment.
He got torched for his first play in for 45 yards... not sure how you missed that the announces went on about how mannign picked on him his first play into the lineup.
Lowery is a fine nickle back, but he shouldn't be the #2 corner. I heard that Peyton Manning guy is pretty good too.
Lowery's biggest problem is that he doesn't know how to play the ball in the air. He does a decent job swiping at it when it's in the receiver's hands but he cannot get his own hands up to play it before it gets there. The guy needs to learn how to cover.
I was getting used to not seeing ridiculous and irrational threads..when we were winning but we lose and here we go again. lowery was great for us all year. No, he's not an everyday #2 corner but he's become a damn good nickel and he's only in his 2nd year. He had a HORRIBLE game yesterday but that's not completely his fault. IMHO i also think he was banged up after that play, but still wanted to be in the game and we had no other real options. i think peyton knew that and attacked us as a result. in addition,Losing strickland was HUGE and lito is not that great. we need to replace him. Everytime strickland played I felt like he had an impact play at some point in the game. i had a bad feeling once our secondary started getting injured. it happens...it wasn't meant to be fellas. you lose that many crucial bodies in 1 game against a great team and it's going to be hard to win. we tried our best with what we had out there and it wasn't enough. it's not like this team folded. It's why i';m not so down as i would normally be after our season is over
