There are a lot of those types of memories from the Coslet/Carrol/Kotite era. 1990: -blow 10 pt 4th qtr lead at Cincy -blow late lead at Buffalo -blow 14 pt 3rd qtr lead at Indy 1991: -lose late against Bills -running out clock to beat bears we fumble then allowing tying TD. To top it off we miss chip shot FG in OT to win and lose 19-13 in OT. -Colts go 1-15, only win against us in 28-27 loss. I believe Leahy missed a chip shot FG in this game as well. -lose 6-3 at home to NE 1992: -lose 6-3 in OT at Indy -lose late again to Buffalo this time on a Monday Night. -lose Al Toon for career -lose Dennis Byrd for career -Scott Zolak humiliating us in NE -The Pete Carrol choke game 1993: -blowing 21-0 lead vs. Philly w/ Bubby Brister at QB -blowing 17-0 lead just a week later this time at LA Raiders -losing 9-6 to Indy to end 5 game win streak -Cary Blanchard missing FG after FG in 2 pt loss at Buffalo -after everything broke right in week 18 during the day we only needed to beat Houston led by backup Cody Carlson to make playoffs in a game that was meaningless for Houston. We lost 24-0. 1994: -Johnny Johnson had 90 plus yard run and we didn't score a point off of it- vs. Chicago. -lose heartbreaker at GB deep in GB territory to end game -fake spike -the NE game the next week where we still controlled our playoff fate but blew it at NE. -5 game losing streak to end season 1995: -52-14 week 1 loss at Miami -blow 24-3 lead in week 2 vs. Indy -47-10 loss on Sunday Night to oak where crowd started chanting "Let's Go raiders"- this was the famous Vance Joseph on Tim Brown game. -lost to Carolina for their first win in franchise history. Bubbu Brister shovel pass game -at Buf, the game where boomer almost got killed by Bruce Smith- literally -score hail mary at end of regulation to pull w/in 2 vs. Buf- fail to convert 2 pt conversion. -I think this was the year Nick Lowery slapped a NE ballboy in Foxboro but that could have been 1994. 1996: -Keyshawn play at Washington -starting 0-8, going 1-15 -another heartbreaking loss to Buf at home -led NE 21-7, lost 31-27 -led Philly 20-7 in 4th, lost 21-20. There were maybe 20-30,000 fans at game w/ 80% being Philly fans. -I think Chrebet fumbled 2 PRs vs. Miami in 3 pt loss in final game for Rich Kotite.
I know he also did kickoffs. SOB went to 2 Super Bowls. Talk about a new lease on life. Another dumb Jet move. It never ends. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Hentrich
