Totally agree. If both of these guys crack the starting line up on a reduced role and Maulding begins to split time with Pace on key schemes this D can be suffocating. Hell yes,I just cant wait for training camp and pre-season. Brady and the Pats might come back from the suspension with a chip on their shoulders but our D might help shake that chip right out of their helmets when we play them.
my guess is # 95, which Talley currently has and he won't make team. that would be a good number for Williams. or # 92, which Vickerson currently has.
we need someone to step up at safery. Pryor showing some form would benefit us more then milliner/mcdougle Bowles loves to send DBs at the quarterback. i can see pryor having 3-4 sacks this year. and hpefulyl better coverage/forced fumbles our D had no real playmakers in the back 7. with revis/cro and if a safety steps up that changes
Agree Back to Queens My three UDFA dark horses: 1)Wes Saxton TE, 2)Taiwan Jones LB and 3)Julian Housare LB (small school speedy guy) My prediction for the "steal of the draft rookie" sure to impress 1) Lorenzo Maulding My prediction for the "better than advertised" rookie 1) Devin Smith Most pleasant surprise of training camp and pre season Milliner and MacDougle (tied) they become key contributors. Biggest question mark going into the first game of preseason.....QB. Biggest shocker of all. Jets finish pre season without one negative article from Cimini or Metha, LOL[/QUOTE] I'm rooting for McDougle but having both will be tough chioce because they addressed the secondary so much in free agency. I'm watching Durell Eskridge, Wes Saxton and Taiwan Jones for UDFA. Rookies class its Bryce Petty and Mauldin. New pickup's the battle between the RB Powell, Stacy.
Florham Pk. will make it more accessible for all but I will miss Cortland. Fun trip, no crowd hassles and Doug's Fish Fry. But am looking forward to seeing Mac's new toys. While Williams who's only 20 yrs. old was a tremendous 'value' pick, Devin Smith (described as "a touchdown waiting to happen") should be fun to watch as well. If his motor doesn't become an issue (as well as his conditioning), 5th round pick Jarvis Harrison could turn out to be a nice pickup as well. Guy's nimble for a beast his size.
Nice summary. Harrison might be the sleeper of the Jets draft. This draft in total in my opinion will go down as one of the very best.
Chris Lopresti 34m By the way, Shaq Evans was the intended receiver on Petty's INT. He's dropped 2 balls against air and had 2 go off of his hands in 7-on-7. Sounds like he's a gem.
I was going to think of something funny to complete the trifecta for us...But I saw Idzik and went braindead.
What do you think he was saying in that picture. I think he was saying "Manish...Thanks for your question. I...Don't...Know..."
