That's because Oakland fucking sucks, and I'd rather go to the Meadowlands.

How on Earth do we never have a home game vs. the Raiders??
Al Davis giving stem cells to the league or something so he doesn't have to come to NY?

Well here's a plea to them from a very optimistc Jet Fan ...

Dallas is a good football team ... especially on offense. Those receivers will be a handful to deal with.
Please, let's not go into a full scale panic if we happen to lose the opener the way so many of you did last season.

We're a very good team. We have good players on both sides of the ball. We have a good staff.
If there are jet fans out there who can't see that, there's no helping them.
We're one of the best teams in the league and we'll be in the playoffs again competing for that Lombardi Trophy.

    CAN'T WAIT!!!

Due to the lockout I did not spend one minute of time thinking about football this offseason. Since they made the agreement I have been glued to all things football.

    Very excited for this season.

Dallas' OL is still shit. They're old, and they have a rookie who is raw at LT if he starts there at the beginning of the season.

Romo is coming off of injury. Austin is going to be taken out of the game by Revis. It comes down to Whitten and Dez Bryant. Roy Williams seems to find a way to suck every sunday. Felix Jones has to be accounted for as well. Tashard Choice is a good player who isn't dynamic but finds ways to make big plays.

I'm concerned about what Dallas' defense will look like under Rob Ryan. There front 7 is respectable. Ware, of course, is a problem. Spencer isn't that great of a LB, especially at setting the edge on running plays. He gets caught constantly. Sean Lee should make his debut and impress at ILB. He's a fast, hard working Penn State guy.

Their secondary still doesn't impress me. Old players with little talent. Mike Jenkins might return to form under Garrett.

It'll be a close game though.

Didn't take long for them to resurface. Twitter was full of idiotic SOJF self-deprecating pseudo humor yesterday. When we win the Super Bowl this year, they'll go away for a while.

Don't get me wrong ... I expect to win the game. I expect that we'll have one of the best rosters in the league again.

I was just making a point about the SOJ stuff.

I look at it like this ...The guys on your team can either play or they can't, and our guys can play. And just because we lose a game it doesn't mean the team suddenly isn't good ... But you would never know that after reading all the ridiculous SOJ stuff on this board after we happen to lose a game or two. Its really hard to take sometimes. It's the NFL ... your gonna' lose a few ... and in his own way, that's pretty much what Bart Scott was yellling about after the Patriot game.

There's plenty of talent on and around this football team. If you believe that, then there's no reason to keep jumping on and off the bandwagon all season. Just enjoy the ride :)

    CAN'T WAIT!!!!

So, because you had Shea tickets 'back in the day' and because you go to away games where you live (California) that makes you a real fan? What other games will you be at this season? None? My guess is none.

Going to games where you live, that just means that you are doing what is convenient. If I lived in NJ still, I'd be at games. That wouldn't make me a real fan. There are plenty of people in the stands that couldn't name half the roster.

If being a 'real fan' means being uninformed and reactionary, and not being able to find your asshole in a closet with a flashlight, I'm glad to be counterfeit.
